Sustainability

As society and culture evolve, opportunities arise to add new dimensions to our operations in order to remain competitive over the years.

In 2019, we began a thorough review of our strategies related to the challenges facing our planet. We based the review on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) proposed by the United Nations. Goal 14 is related to life below water, where fishing and aquaculture take place. Next, the Company identified and prioritized aspects on which we must make progress and grouped them into five strategic priority areas. These areas form the basis of our current Sustainability Model, which aims to:

1 – Provide a conceptual framework for addressing environmental and social challenges.

2 – Structure sustainability priorities and goals in order to facilitate management and communication.

3 – Accelerate cultural change in our employees, who bring aquaculture and the Company to life.
